This $2 billion contract funds liquid waste operations at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina, one of the Department of Energy's major nuclear cleanup sites. Savannah River Mission Completion LLC manages the treatment and disposal of radioactive liquid waste from decades of nuclear weapons production during the Cold War.
